PRODUCT REVIEW: MARC JACOBS AIR BLUSH SOFT GLOW DUO
Ok, so maybe you have seen these Marc Jacobs #AIR Blushes all over the internet. I received a sample from Influenster in the shade "Kink & Kisses" ... A beautiful Pale/petal & Peachy/rose shade that's basically universally flattering on any skin tone.
But, I went to Sephora, swatch all the colors and fell IN LOVE with "Lines & Last Night". A gorgeous Creamsicle/deep tangerine (as described on Sephora's website) .
WHAT'S SO SPECIAL ABOUT THIS BLUSH?
First ... The shade! I often enjoy peachy, pink blushes, but warmer orangy/golden colors are definitely more flattering on my skin tone. Personally; I think the darker shade Is a true, bright Creamsicle color (as seen on the swatch of my hand below) that has the ability to lift any dull complexion. And since it's a warmer, burnt color I'm able to skip bronzer and still look tan. I'm completely obsessed with this shade!
But wait ... Because the magic doesn't stop here. The lighter shade of the stripes work amazingly as a subtle highlighter, adding the prettiest golden sheen to my cheeks (see pic below).
FORMULA WISE: It blends like a dream! This blushes are infused with Japanese air powder (meaning the pigments are literally weightless so they blend seamlessly into the skin) .
They also go through a process called soufflage which basically translates into "Air Whipping" the formula so it feels lightweight, sliky-soft and luminous on the skin.
APPLICATION: Easy! I go directly to the darker shade and place the pigment right in the center of my cheeks. Then, to soften the look and give it that #AirBlush look, I use the lighter shade to blend everything in and buff away any edges.
The final look: Pure Natural Radiance! the two shades together give my skin a true airbrushed, youthful look.
OH! And if your wondering ... In terms of glow an radiance, this Marc Jacobs Blushes are way prettier than the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blushes. I promise !!!
